Outdoor Film Screening of Point Break (1991)
Hold onto your wetsuits as we embark on the epic, adrenaline-fuelled, undercover surf cop film that is POINT BREAK! This 90's classic has it all: surfing, summer beach wear, massive action scenes, awesome soundtrack (including The Red Hot Chilli Peppers), Keanu Reeves, Patrick Swayze, some Ex Presidents, surfers fighting against the system and, to top it all off, it's directed by a woman! The amazing Catherine Bigelow.
This film is very rare to see as the licence is so difficult to get, but we did it! And we are going to have an epic "Surf Sunday" event to celebrate it. If that's not enough we will also screen Uncommon Ideals, a short film about surfing the North Sea, directed by Chris McLean. This short film won multiple awards and is basically awesome.
Join us in the Garden Courtyard at Ninth Life for their first ever outdoor film screening event. Brought to you by We Do Good Disco who specialise in unique film screening events, top disco nights and fun games!
